Christmas time was nearing around the corner in Japan, and everyone was preparing themselves for the holidays, including a certain café.

Kaneki was in charge of decorations, but he had a little trick up his sleeve. He stood at the top of a ladder, adding a special decoration at the top of the doorway.

After a few minutes of struggling, he finally managed to append the decoration to the door. Kaneki smiled proudly to himself seeing the mistletoe placed in every entrance and exit.

"Big brother, what are you doing?" The male jumped, falling off the ladder from the sudden voice. He rubbed his head and looked up to see Hinami staring back at him.

"J-just adding the decorations, Hinami-chan." He stuttered. The younger girl looked up seeing the mistletoe placed above them. Hinami giggles, already understanding Kaneki's intentions.

"Trying to kiss big sister, (Name)?" She teased him slightly, causing Kaneki's cheeks to heat up and gain a beautiful shade of crimson.

"I-I-I don't know what you're talking about..." he mumbled, embarrassed. Hinami smiled to him, patting his shoulder.

"Good luck, big brother. I'm sure you'll get (Name) to kiss you." She then kissed his cheek. Kaneki blushes slightly, making Hinami smile again and point upward towards the mistletoe.

I smiled as I lightly strummed my guitar, humming along to it's light, cheery Christmas tune. All of our friends had come together to celebrate with us for the holidays.

"Some coffee, (Name)-chan?" Touka asked me, offering a mug in my direction. I nodded, smiling gratefully at her and taking a sip of hot beverage.

"Oí, (Name). Kaneki's calling you over there." Nishiki pointed over his shoulder, smirking slightly. I stood up from my seat, trying to restrain myself from blushing.

I walked over to Kaneki, oblivious to the red on his cheeks. I stood beside him, shyly smiling at him. "You called me?" Kaneki nodded softly.

Just as he was about to say something, a glint caught my eye. I looked up to see a beautiful glittering decoration shining above us. I looked a little closer and realization slowly washed over me.

"M-mistletoe?" I gasped lightly, blushing heavily. I stared at the floor, occasionally glancing over to Kaneki.  He was blushing and smiling. He looked....cute.

Deciding to be brave with a little nervousness, I got a grip of Kaneki's tie and lowered him down to my height. I shut my eyes tightly and kissed his lips. It was meant to be a short peck, but as I tried to pull away, Kaneki held me from doing so.

He kissed my lips softly, and he held me in his arms, as if he were afraid I would dissapear. I could feel the warm temperature coming from his cheeks. Kaneki pulled away, still embracing me.

I shyly smiled at him while he did the same. I set my head onto his shoulder, the smile never leaving my face. "I love you, Kaneki-kun." I whispered to him.

Kaneki's smile grew even more, as well as his blush. "I love you too, (Name)-chan." He softly kissed my forehead. We heard cheering in the room, and we both blushed, remembering our friends.

"It worked, big brother!" Hinami cheered. The others nodded, smiling at the new couple. Tsukiyama was doing his best not to sob dramatically, but he still smiled.

"About time, you two were so obvious." Nishiki pushed up his glasses. Everyone chuckled and laughed, casually agreeing.

The rest of the night, Kaneki and I were wrapped in each other's arms, occasionally sharing some mistletoe kisses.
