All I saw of her was her hair. It was long, strawberry-blonde. Even though that was all I saw of her, it felt like my life had shifted slightly. I wanted to know her, everything about her. I felt like I would do anything for her. But, how can this be? I thought. I've never even met her. I've only seen glimpses of her. Could she be my imprintee? NO! I won't do this to Leah. I can't do this to Leah.
"I told you." Edward said, making me jump. He chuckled, and then turned serious. "I know you don't want to hurt Leah, but you can't change the future."
"Yes I can. I won't look at her. Ever."
He shook his head. "Alice has seen—or, not seen, in this case, that it will happen. You or Embry will imprint on Aleena."
"Well, it won't be me." I said, and then walked off to end the conversation.
