The gifted human, Aleena, stood in front of me. She stuck her wrist in my face, the juicy blood pumping veins facing me.
"You want your gift back?" she said smartly. "Bite me."
So I did.
Only to get attacked by that vile werewolf, Seth.
Landing on my chest, he snarled in my face.
Grabbing his forelegs, I gasped.
"Incredible!" I said, throwing him off.
Ignoring his whimper of pain, I called Jane. "Dearest Jane! I've got my gift back!"
"Excellent, Master!" she said.
Using the wall for support, Aleena stood up.
"Now that you have your gift back," she spat, "check their thoughts. They're right. I can't be a vampire." She then fell on the ground in convulsions.
