Seth had a slightly troubled look on his face while the song was playing, but he didn't say anything.

"Seth?" I asked after everybody else had left.

He raised his eyebrows in acknowledgement.

"You okay?" I walked over to him.

He nodded, causing some of his hair to fall in his face. He flipped it out of the way.

"You sure?"

He nodded again, only to have his hair fall again.

"Your hair's getting so long." I said as I brushed it back.

While doing that, I touched his forehead.

I gasped.

He looked up at me. "What is it?"

"You…you really loved her, didn't you?"

He bit his lip and looked down.

"Yeah." He whispered. "And then I had to phase."

The song ended. Then, 'The Only Exception' by Paramore started playing.

Seth smiled and huffed a laugh.

"What?" I asked, sitting beside him and putting my hands on his arm. I removed them when I couldn't take the stampede of his thoughts any longer.

He stood up and said, "I swore I'd never dance, but…" he sighed. "Aleena, will you do me the honor of dancing?"

My mouth fell open.

He stood there, waiting. "Come on, Lee. I don't have all day. I got patrol later."

"No you don't." I really didn't want to dance.

He cocked his head to the side.

"Let's just say…we owe Leah. Big time."

His eyes widened.

"How did you— "

I held up my hand to stop him. "It's a girl thing."

He scrunched his eyebrows.

I raised mine.

"Oh!" he said after a few seconds. "I don't want to know!" he waved his hands in front of him.

I laughed.

Grinning, I said, "Told you."

"Yeah," he said, nodding, "you did."

I moved around in the seat, and Seth grabbed my right hand.

I looked at him.

"Please dance with me." He said.

The song ended, and then 'Homecoming' by Hey Monday started up.

"Can't slow dance to a fast song." I said.

"Why don't you want to dance with me?" he asked.

I sighed. "I would love to dance with you, Seth." I intertwined my fingers with his. Looking at our hands, I continued, "it's just that…"

"What is it?" he stepped closer to me.

"I can't dance. Not after what happened last time."
