I woke with a start.

"Seth?" I whispered to the dark room.

Nothing.

I laughed and rolled my eyes.

I laid back down, and just as I was about to close my eyes, I heard my name again.

I sat straight up.

"Alice." I called, know she would hear me.

"Yes?" she walked in my room.

"I think Seth's in trouble." Just as I said that, my phone vibrated with a text message.

I looked at it.

"Who's it from?" Alice asked.

"It says it's from an unknown number."

"Well, what does it say?"

I quickly read it.

Looking up at Alice, I said, "They have Seth. Again."

*

I slammed my fist into the wall. "Dammit!"

"Aleena!" Esme said. I could tell by her face that she was shocked at me for cursing.

"I'm sorry, Esme. I'm just really frustrated right now."

She sighed and nodded. "I know, but that's no reason for you to curse so…blatantly."

I nodded.

"Edward." Bella said.

"Hmm?" he looked at her.

"Does anyone know where Seth is?"

He blinked. "I…I don't know. Alice?" he turned to face her.

I looked at her, silently pleading with her.

She looked me in the eyes, and then turned to look out the window of the living room.

"I don't know. I'll try, but I can't make any promises. He is a werewolf, after all."

"What?"

"I can't see anything that involves werewolves, remember?"

"Oh. Right." I bit my lip and looked around at everyone else.

Leah was sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall. I could see the worry in her eyes from across the room.

Just as I was about to say something, Paul ran in. He slid to a stop.

We all looked at him.

"Quil found his scent. They're following it right now."

I clenched my hands into fists.

"Why aren't you with them?" I asked.

"I'm here to keep you guys connected."

"Okay." Then I thought of something.

"Paul?"

He looked at me. "Yeah?"

"Which direction does the trail go?"

"North."

I looked at Renesmee. She put her hand on my cheek and showed me something, asking a question.

I nodded.

"What is it?" Alice asked.

Edward sighed. "Looks like we're going back to Canada."

"Why?" Bella asked.

"The trail goes north, right?" I said.

Everyone nodded.

"And, didn't we just go north a few days ago?"

"About a week ago, but yes." Carlisle said.

"Well," I said. "Looks like we're going north." I sighed. "Again."

"Fun." Edward said sarcastically.

I glared at him.

*

"How much longer, Alice?" I asked her.

"Not much, Aleena." She said, sounding agitated.

"Sorry if I'm annoying you." I looked at her. "I'm just really nervous and angry."

She nodded. "I understand."

I nodded and gave a small smile. "Thanks, Alice."

"You're welcome. Now, you should probably get some rest."

I yawned and leaned back in my seat.

I slowly drifted off into a world of nightmares.
