I felt really bad about pissing Aleena off.
So, I went out to the garden in front of the cottage, and picked some flowers. I walked back inside and cut the stems, and wrapped them together.
When that was done, I went in the bedroom and sat on the ground in front of the bathroom door.
I could hear the shower running.
And…Aleena singing.
She was singing the chorus to 'Stand In The Rain' by Superchic[k]. When she was finished with that, she started singing 'Unbreakable' by Fireflight.
She turned the shower off, but continued singing. This time, it was 'Never Alone' by BarlowGirl.
It took her another five minutes after finishing that song to get dried off and do whatever it is that girls do after taking a shower.
