Okay (am I really starting off another theory with 'okay so as we know..' Jeez that must be at least 4 I've already started with that omg Mrs Allen would be ashamed!) anyway so TDA like TID and TLHis based of a piece of literature TID was based off 'a tale of two city's' and TLH is based off of 'great expectations' and TDA is based off the poem 'Annabel Lee' by edger Allen Poe (which is in fact one of my personal favourite poems anyway) and if you have never heard it here it is:
Annabel Lee

So yea...joy, Happiness and dead children the perfect way to start three books. Now what can I say I'm Julian and Emma are obviously Annabel Lee and the narrator and I'm going to guess the people "far older and fat wiser than we" are the clave. We know the "highborn kingsmen " in this case and I'm going to take a bite and say that these are the unceelie court because the unceelie has actually got a king ruling it instead of a queen. I'm actually sorta scared to see the King I mean the queen slept with sebby SHE FREAKING SLEPT WITH HIM IMAGINE HOW MESSED UP AN TERIFYING THE EVIL KING IS GOING TO BE IF THE QUEEN WAS THE NICE ONE I MEAN THE QUEEN TRUSTED MELIORN, MELIORN WHO BASICALLY CAUSED THE DARK WAR BY STEALING THE DOWNWORLDER REPRESENTATIVES I MEAN COME ON. I am also super excited to meet the head vampire of the LA Clan because apparently he used to be a shadowhunter and see we have met mundanes who have become vamps but we haven't met any who were Shadowhunters so I'm looking forward to how he interacts with his old kind :) anyway back to the poem. So obviously the narrator is in love with his Annabel Lee and he seems to admire her bravery and her boldness in his own loving way which I think really fits with Jules because he is timid and quite shy according to Cassie and as we know from COHF em was always the leader while Julian stayed and worried. Now this Is a guess but what if the part about Annabel Lee getting cold and dying on the beach could be connected to the part with Emma falling in the ocean because we have been told that the cover is a scene from the book idk but to me on the cover she looks pretty dead or unconscious because if you look closely she as bubbles coming from her sword but not her mouth. I screamed when I saw that. Anyway ima end this here but I had a shocking thought today...well two shocking thoughts the first: this will probably be one of the last LM theories I do before it comes out and 2: what will I do when it does come out?! Because I have quite enjoyed this little adventure and I DONT WANT IT TO END WAAAA anyway I'm super excited because I'm going to buy a lonely hearts top Yay so Byeee guyssss XOXOX
