~Start, Then Dash Forward~ (Casey x Reader)

(A/N: hello!! So sorry I haven't updated in a while, this one is going to be based off of my favorite anime. See if you can figure out which one it is. Enjoy!!)

You say nervously in the dressing room. "What if no one comes?" You asked your other life long best friends, Linnea and Kat. Kat wanted to save the school from shutting down and made a School Idol group. She made sure you joined, even though you were the shyest person in the school. You also had a crush on Casey. But you knew he'd never like you because he liked April, a really mean girl in the school. But you may have a good chance since you've known him for a long time and knew things no one else knew.

You were in your costume and went backstage. Linnea's was blue, Kat's was pink, and your's was green. You stood behind the curtain with them and smiled. "Let's do this", Kat said. The curtain parted, revealing only a couple people in the audience. You felt tears coming on and smiled instead. You looked at Kat. "What do we do?" You whispered. "We just keep going. The show must go on", she said. Linnea nodded. "We can't give up for these couple people. We need to keep going", Linnea said. You nodded as the music started.

Halfway between the song, more people started to enter. You noticed a couple of your other friends were here and April came too, with her squad of rudies.

When you got done, the crowd cheered. You went backstage and took off your clothes and changed into your school skirt and shirt and dark pink/blue striped bow tie.

When you came out, many people have you nice comments and feedback on your performance. Casey walked up to you and smiled. "You were good (y/n)", he said. You blushed. "Thanks", you said. "I've been meaning to ask you, but do you wanna....well....be my girlfriend?" He asked. You looked up in shock at him. "Yes!!" You said. He smiled again and kissed your cheek. "See ya after school", he said and walked off.
