Allie walked in the door to her with a huge smile on her face. Her mom noticed it and asked, "Good day at school?"

"What? Oh, yeah," Allie replied.

"Want a snack?"

"Yes, please." Her mom went to the fridge and grabbed a watermelon and started slicing it. While Allie was waiting, she went upstairs and the checked her email.

"AAAHHHH!!!!"

Her mom came up the stairs like a cheetah. "Allie! What's wrong?"

"Nothing! Everything is great!" She couldn't believe this. She opened the email. It was a video from Hunter himself She clicked play. "Hey, Allie. It's Hunter. That's very nice of you to ask me to do a duet with you, and I've thought about it and yes, I will. Sorry for the long wait. I would be delighted to!"

"Oh, my gosh! I can't believe this is happening!"

"What's going on?" her mom asked her.

"Shh!" Allie shot back. She went back to the video. "We'll have to meet privately if you want to do this. I'll be in your city by Thursday, of that works. Let me know you got this and I'll see you later, bye now."

Allie was speechless All she could do was stare at her laptop. By now, her mom had left the room. "Is this a dream?" She asked herself. She lied down and tried to take a nap, bit was too excited. She knew that she couldn't tell anyone, otherwise they would be all over her, even though she would love the attention. She kept it to herself, no matter how hard it was.
