When they got to the school, Hunter told her, "Good luck. You'll do great."
Allie smiled. "Thanks, Hunter." He smiled an pulled out of the parking lot. Allie walked in the gym and saw Lucy. "Oh, no. What if she asks me again?" she thought, as Lucy walked over to her.
"Hey, what are you singing?" she asked, as though the conversation after school never happened.
"Oh, um, Faith To Fall Back On," Allie told her, rather surprised.
"Good choice. Ready for today? The first rehearsal."
"Yep, I'm ready."
"Easton's here, nervous?"
"He is? Why?" Allie was pretty nervous, because it was going to be the first time she's performed in front of people, and Hunter wasn't there. "Why is he here?"
"He's in band, Allie. Didn't you know that?" Lucy was quite surprised.
"Oh, right. I knew that. I guess I am just a little nervous." She looked at Easton as he was setting up to play.
"Well, choir starts soon. We're after the band," Lucy informed her.
"Am I late?" she asked.
"Not at all, just telling you to be ready."
"Oh, thanks." Allie walked with Lucy to the main stage where the choir was going to be set up. "I'm going to crash and burn," Allie thought to herself. "What song am I singing? How does it start? Oh, Hunter, I need you!" She took her phone out and texted Hunter, She said, "How does Faith To Fall Back On start?" He replied, "People know that love is what they want...man, you nervous, Allie?" She laughed and replied, "Just a little, haha."
"Who are you texting?" It was Milly.
"Oh, gosh, not now!" she thought. "No one."
"Sure. Ready to fail today?" That did it. Allie couldn't do this without Hunter.
