"Thursday just can't come fast enough, can it?" Allie said aloud.
Lucy was walking with her to class. "What's happening on Thursday?" She asked.
"What? Oh, nothing."
"Somethiiiing!" Lucy said with a wink. "Is it Easton?"
"Where? Oh, no it isn't. Lucy, I can't tell ya."
"You seem so distracted. You gonna be ok for the audition Friday?"
Allie came to and looked at Lucy. "The audition is Friday? What song do I sing?"
"You haven't picked one yet?"
"I think I'll just do a Hunter Hayes song. I know all the words, anyway."
Lucy turned to her locker. "Good idea," she laughed.
Gabby snuck up behind Allie. "So have you told Lucy yet?"
"Told me what?"
Allie didn't know what Gabby was talking about.
"You and Easton!"
Lucy stopped what she was doing and stared at Allie. "Are you two dating?"
"No! We just had a conversation after school yesterday, that's all."
"No, that's not all! He told her to text him!" Gabby exclaimed.
"Did you?"
Allie looked at the clock. "Guys, I gotta get to class." She walked off, looking for Easton.
Lucy and Gabby gave each other looks. "He probably asked her out," Gabby told Lucy.
"Don't jump to conclusions! But let's hope so."
