Allie was at her locker after school when Easton came up to her. Allie heard footsteps behind her and she saw him. "Oh, hi Easton. Are we still on fro Friday?"
He looked down at his feet. "I don't know."
"What do you mean you don't know?" she asked him. Easton handed her Hunter's note and didn't say anything. "What is this?" She took it and read the first couple words. "Where did you get this? Did you break into my locker?" She looked at him with surprise.
Easton looked up at her. "You dropped it."
"And you didn't give it back to me? Why did you read it?"
"You've been acting weird lately, so I read it. I didn't show it to anyone, at least I gave it back." Allie could tell he was nervous. Just then, she got a text from Hunter.
"Well, thank you for not showing it to anyone, and for giving it back to me. I have to go, bye," she said packing her stuff.
"Sorry, Allie, but I think we're off for Friday."
Allie stopped what she was doing. "What? Why?"
"Because of that," he said, pointing to the note.
Allie looked at the note. "This?" Easton nodded. "Why?"
"Who is it from?" he asked.
