They were out in the parking lot longer than Hunter intended. He felt Allie shivering into him. "Ready to go in and get warm?" he asked.
A crack of thunder sounded, which made Allie jump even closer to Hunter. "Y-Yes," Allie said, shivering. They walked inside the doorway and sat down together, Hunter's arm around her shoulders.
"Warming up?" he asked.
"A little bit," she said, then coughed. She was still shivering.
Hunter took his jacket off, even though it was wet and put it around her. She started coughing even more. "I think you're sick, Allie. Let's get you home." He helped her up, but she doubled over. "Allie?"
"I-I think I have to throw up," she said, holding her stomach.
"I'll help you to the bathroom." He took her arm and opened the girls' bathroom door.
"D-Don't come in," she said as she walked into the bathroom.
"I'm going to. You're sick, Allie." He sat there with her at the toilet for 30 minutes. She threw up and started shivering even more. Hunter rubbed her back, trying to comfort her. They sat there for another 20 minutes, when she didn't throw up again, Hunter decided to get her home so her mom could take care of her.
