Once they got to the school, they noticed that Mr. Sherman wasn't there yet, so they sat in his car and waited.
Hunter looked at Allie. "Hey, I'm sorry if I came across too strong last night-"
"Hunter, that's enough! You're just making it worse by bringing it up all the time! Can't you just leave it alone? It happened and we can't change the past." Allie was getting tired of him saying that he's sorry all the time.
He didn't say anything for a couple minutes. "We've been sitting in silence and it makes me feel like you're mad at me for kissing you."
Allie took a deep breathe. "Just stop! If you don't want silence, then turn on the radio, because I don't want to talk about it."
Hunter looked away, but didn't turn the radio on. He turned to make himself feel as comfortable as possible. "Fine, we don't have to talk at all, if you don't want to."
"Fine with me," she replied.
