Hunter pulled into Allie's driveway and her mom met them halfway. "She ok?" Mrs. Pelfer asked.

"She's shivering a lot and only threw up once," Hunter told her, helping Mrs. Pelfer get Allie out of the car. Once they got inside, they set her on the couch.

"Run upstairs and get her a change of clothes, will you?" she asked Hunter

"Yes, ma'am," he said, getting up and running up the stairs. He walked into her room and looked for some clothes. He grabbed a t-shirt, sweatshirt and sweatpants then headed back downstairs.

"What happened" Mrs. Pelfer asked when Hunter came back.

"We, uh, we were dancing in the rain. I got caught up in the moment and we stayed out there longer than I intended," Hunter explained. "You can blame me for it."

"There's no reason to blame you, Hunter. It was your feelings. I'm not going to blame you," she said. "Sit down, it may hit you as well."

"Is there anything I can do?" he asked.

"Yes, sit down and rest. You'll probably catch it," Mrs. Pelfer advised him.

He did as he was told and sat down and closed his eyes. He soon dozed off into a deep sleep. He found himself in the strangest dream. He dreamt that he was back home in Breaux Bridge and he was as this little coffee shop that he always used to go to. He was sitting at the same table he used to sit at. He saw a couple in the back corner booth. He didn't recognize the girl at first, but then soon realized that it was Allie.

She was sitting there with her boyfriend, Jason. Hunter got up from his table and went over to theirs. "Hey, Allie," he said.

"Who's Allie? My name's Emily," the girl  responded. "And who are you?"

Confused, he said, "It's me, Hunter."

"Sorry, but I don't know anyone by that name," she said. Hunter tried to convince her, but Jason got up and punched Hunter. It was then that he woke up.
