The next morning, Allie checked her phone. That text she got last night want from Hunter, it was from Easton. She had just remembered that the week before, he told her to text him, but she never did.
Seeing that text the night before, would've made her the happiest girl in the world. The text said, "Hey Allie, just wanted to ask you why you never texted me the other day. Anyway, goodnight and sleep well ;)" She wishes she could've seen it.
Without knowing it, get mom came in her room. "Are you going to ask Hunter today?"
Allie looked up from her phone. "Mom, for the last time, in not going to ask Hunter how he feels! I'd come across as way too strong. And please, knock before you come in."
Her mom rolled her eyes. "Don't be such a beach! Ask him. And I'm the mother, I funny have to knock." She walked away.
Allie was too scared to ask Hunter, even though she knew what he would say, 'What?!' and how would SHE respond to that? She didn't know.
Just then, she got a text. Hoping it would be Easton, she looked but it was from Hunter. It read, "Good morning, Allie! What time are we rehearsing today?" She replied to it saying, "Morning...umm, I don't know. I haven't called my music director. I will after breakfast." He replied with, "Alright! Hope to see you soon :)" Allie smiled.
Should she ask? No, that would make him feel uncomfortable. "I don't want to make him think that in like that. I'll ask before he leaves, "she came to a conclusion. "I think."
