Later that day, Allie, Hunter, the band and Mr. Sherman met at the school when no one was there. Allie was excited and she was thinking, 'I'm gonna be singing with Hunter Hayes!'
Mr. Sherman disrupted her thought. "Allie, did you have any ideas on how you wanted to do this?"
"Oh, yeah I did. I was thinking about having Hunter dimmed out, then coming in on the chorus," she stopped, looking at Hunter. "Does that sounds ok?"
He nodded, giving her a smile. "That way people will think it's just you, but then the light shines on me from the chorus and rest of the way through, right?"
"Yes," Allie replied.
Mr. Sherman shook his head. "That's a very good idea, Allie."
She smiled looking at Hunter. "Thanks." Then, without any hesitation, Hunter put his around Allie.
"I think it's a great idea. No one will know that I'm here."
She turned to him and said, "That's the point!" Hunter laughed.
Mr. Sherman asked them, "Well, do you guys want to try it?"
The two looked at each other, Allie a little nervous. Hunter noticed it and said, "Yeah, we'll try it." He leaves over to Allie's ear and said, "Don't worry, you'll be fine." She laughed a little as they walked up on stage with the band.
