"You know, Milly, who cares what you think," Allie started. "I have true friends, including Hunter, and people probably don't even like you."

Milly looked at her. "Shut up!" she yelled at her sister.

Hunter helped Allie up and they went downstairs, going into the kitchen to get Allie an ice pack for her head, leaving Milly sitting on Allie's bed. "Mrs. Pelfer, do you have an ice pack?" Hunter asked her mom.

"What happened?" she asked him as she went to the freezer.

"Milly pushed Allie off herbed and she hit her head," Hunter explained. He had his arm around Allie.

:Oh, Allie. Here, sit down," her mom said, pulling a chair out for her.

"Thanks, Mom," Allie said, sitting down. Hunter sat next to her. Her mom left the two of them alone.

"Are you ok?" Hunter asked her, looking her in her eyes.

She smiled as she said, "Yes, I'm ok. She's done worse."

"Like what?"

"I can't say. I asked my mom if I could show you Nicole's room."

"You're more important right now."

She smiled. "How do you always know what to say?"

"I don't, I just try to make you feel better."

She leaned into him and smiled. "Thanks," she said as Hunter kissed her head.
