They sat there for almost half an hour, hugging. The oven went off and Allie jumped closer to Hunter. "It's Alright, Allie. It was just the oven," he comforted her and pulled her closer.

Allie's dad walked in and saw them sitting there together. "Did I interrupt something?"

Allie looked at her dad. "No, you didn't."

Her dad walked up to them. "Who's this?"

"Oh, Dad, I forgot, you haven't met him yet. Dad, this is Hunter. Hunter, this my dad," she introduced and they shook hands. "He's going to be singing a duet with me at Prism."

"Oh, so you're the one I've been hearing so much about." Hunter smiled. "Well, I hope you are as good as my daughter says."

"He is, Dad, he's better than I told you," Allie looked at Hunter and smiled.

"Well, dinner should be ready soon," Allie's dad informed.

"Yeah, we heard the oven go off," Hunter told him.

Allie's dad checked the casserole. "Well, it sure did." He opened a drawer and got out an oven mitt to get it out.

"Smells delicious," Hunter said, his mouth watering.

"It's Mom's famous recipe, cheesy broccoli chicken casserole. It's the best, you'll love it," Allie told him.

"I haven't had a home cooked meal in a while. I'm sure it's delicious." Hunter was eying the meal.

"I see that look. Don't worry, there's nothing bad about it!" Allie teased him, poking his stomach. He looked at her and laughed as Mr. Pelfer put it on the table.
