"Allie Pelfer, you're up," Mr. Sherman announced.

She walked up on stage and nodded to the sound table that she was ready. It was so different being up there without Hunter, but at least he was there. The music started and so did she. Once she started, she wanted to keep going. The nerves left her and were replaced with joy.

Everyone was impressed with her voice. When she was done, everyone in the gym calpped for her, including Hunter, Easton and Milly. She felt so alive, so happy, so energized. She walked off the stage and her friends came toward her.

"See? I told you that you're amazing!" Lucy told her. "Look, Easton is coming over."

As Allie looked, she heard the front door close. She owed it all to Hunter, she couldn't have done that without him.

"Good job, Allie." Easton told her.

"Thanks," she smiled.

"I had no idea that you could sing like that. You're amazing."

"I didn't know I could sing like that either," she laughed.

He smiled. "Are you singing both days?"

She looked into his eyes. "No, just Sunday."

"Well, at least I'll still hear ya." he smiled.

"Oh, and I canceled my plans for Friday, so we can hang out or something," she informed him.

"Great, I'll text ya," he told her and walked away. Allie never felt so good in her life.
