Allie was speechless. She never would've imagined that he would fall for her. She felt the same, but she had a date with Easton on Friday,.

"I know you like Easton and I'm not asking you to tell me how you feel, but I had to tell you," Hunter said when she didn't respond. "I don't want that to ruin our friendship, either. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said anything." He got up and went towards her door.

"Hunter, wait." She walked up to him. "It's ok. I do feel the same, but I mean, you're 21 and I'm 15. It wouldn't work any way." She put her hand on his arm.

"Yeah, I know." He looked at her, He wanted to kiss her then and there, but he knew he shouldn't. "I shouldn't have said anything."

"It's ok! I'm glad you did," she said as she hugged him. He still wanted to kiss her, but he hugged her tightly instead.

They headed back downstairs and sat next to each other on the couch. Even though Hunter told her, he still put his arm around her, and she leaned into him. They both smiled. Allie knew she was in the arms of someone who truly cared about her, and Hunter was smiling because she felt the same way.
