The next morning, Allie got ready for school, still thinking about what happened the night before. Suddenly, she thought, "What am I going to do about Easton? I can't tell him, but Hunter and I missed two rehearsals and I have to rehearse on Friday." She had to figure something out, and soon, it was Wednesday.
When she got to school, Gabby was at her locker. "Hey, Allie. You never answered my text last night. Was everything ok?"
"Yeah, my parents just had some people over and I wasn't allowed to be on my phone," Allie covered up, while she opened her locker.
"Oh, that reminds me, someone came up to me while I was waiting for you here and gave me this. He said to give it to you when you got here, "Gabby said, handing her a piece of paper.
Allie took it. "You didn't read it, did you?" she asked, unfolding it.
"No, I was tempted, but I didn't."
Allie read it and it was from Hunter. It read, "I'm sorry. I don't know what came over me last night, but whatever it was, I'd like it to happen again. Is that ok with you? Tell me at rehearsal tonight.- HH" Allie knew that she couldn't do this. She put it in her locker and walked off to class.
"What did it say?" Gabby asked.
"Nothing," she answered. "What is he getting at? I can't have sex with him. I hope that's not what he's getting at. Guess I'll find out soon."
