I was ready for this. I kept thinking about that. Matt and I haven't been dating for long. We've only really been together for like 3 months. It has seemed like longer though because we've been friends for years. We've always been close. I've always felt like I've had someone. he's always been that person. I was expecting anything to happen. I was just going on with my life. I kept things good on shift, and off shift I kept it all going. I did work and worked hard. I did everything I could. Last year I was taking a couple of pre-med classes. It was good for me because being a doctor was a dream of mine. I really like the idea. I just didn't have the money right now. I was saving that up and waiting until I could make that possible.
Change was happening. I was changing and I knew things had to change. I had to make it all good for me. Shay came up to me " got something from med..?" I opened it " thanks.." I went to the locker room to open it. I read it. I was excepted to go to med school. This was the greatest thing. I didn't know what to think though. I first told Shay. She gets me so I know she would tell me if this is good. I know it is, but I didn't know to do at this point. I looked at her " so this letter that came.." She looked at me " yeah... what did it say!" I looked at her " They excepted me into med school... to be a doctor!" She laughed " wow! wow... that's great Dawson.." I looked at her "sooo" She looked at me " how do you feel about this.." I looked at her " good... is this right for me.." She laughed " Dawson... you kill it out there... a a PIC! Just imagine how your going to kill it in the ER..." I laughed " your right!"
