Matt's POV
I was just waiting to get off shift. I just want to see my wife. I heard my phone ring " hello.." I heard a familiar voice " Matt... it's April at med.. something happened!" I froze " ya.." She continued " I don't how to say any of this... something happened... Gabby's in surgery..." I ran " something happened... I have to get to med!"
I got there and everyone looked at me. I looked at Maggie standing there " what the hell happened!" She looked at me " I need you to stay calm... she was attacked we found her outside the or doors.... we dont know she's been unconscious..." I looked at her " she was supposed to go home.." Maggie looked at me " it's not your fault or hers.." I looked at her " I know.."
I waited hours with Antonio. We just wanted to know who would do this. Gabby helps everyone and the fact that someone would harms her hurts. Connor and Will came out. Connor looked at us " She's stable... she has 3 broken ribs... she lost a lot of blood..." I looked at them " she wasn't feeling well.. and then this... what the hell!" Will asked " what was wrong..?" I looked at them " she was feeling sick... we thought it was food poisoning... but i don't know!" Will looked at him " could she be pregnant...." I looked at him " no.. no... but maybe!"
I sat with Gabby. Will did an ultrasound " she's not pregnant... but those symptoms line up... I think I know what this is.." I looked at him " what..." He looked at me " it's an early miscarriage... it happens before 6 weeks. the attack didn't affect this... the baby was already gone.. i'm sorry." I looked at him " ok... i'm just gonna!" Will nodded " yeah.."
