I knew what this means. I had to make the right decision. I could keep working and risk my health, and my babies lives. I could help out more people, but hurt my self in the meantime. I can take the time now, and be able to prepare. I would get more time with my family. I could spend alone time with my daughter before we become a family of 5. I need to make the right decision here. I knew what the right choice is. I just needed to admit it and say it all out loud.
Matt held Mia and sat next to me. She was climbing on the bed. I smiled " hey baby girl!" She looked at me " momma ok.." I smiled " yeah.." I grabbed her small little hands " that's your brothers!" She looked confused " baby!" I smiled " yes baby!" Matt looked at me " you had me worried..." I looked at him " I know... your right" He looked at me " how so.." I looked at him " I know your worried and I know I was being stubborn about taking time off... I know I have to know... I'm gonna take my leave now..." Matt looked at me " sorry Gabs.." I looked at him " this isn't ending my career... I'm taking time off... it's for the best!"
