Matt's POV
This is the safest place, or at least it is supposed to be. It's a hospital. I don't want to think that something like this can happen. I know it does, but to Gabby. I don't want to believe it. It happened. We'll get through it though. I walked out into the hallway where Antonio was talking to Sharon Goodwin. I looked at them "this is a hospital... she's supposed to be safe here!" She looked at me " Lieutenant... i'm so sorry. were going to take action against whoever did this." Antonio looked at me " hey man... were working on it.. this sick son of a bitch.. wont walk!" I looked at them both " this is just a lot... I just want her to be safe." Sharon smiled " of course.."
I went to sit with Gabby, but I also had to tell her something. I had to tell her about the misscarriage. She looked at me " Matt.. what's wrong.." I looked at her, and grabbed her hands " Gabby... there's something I need to tell you... you know how you were feeling sick.." She hummed " uhhhh.." I looked at her " you had a miscarriage..." She looked at me " no i didn't.." I looked at her " it was early on... it doesn't feel like pregnancy... i'm sorry baby." She looked at me " I should have been more careful...." I looked at her " no.. no... this wasn't your fault... this would of happened either way... but it's gonna be okay. we'll have kids..."
