Matt's POV 

a couple hours prior 

We got to shift. Everything was pretty slow. We went from fire to fire. It was all slow but all ok. We settled down for a couple hours. Then the bells went off again " truck 81... squad 3... ambulance 61.... shots fired 7823 Lincoln elementary!" Hermann looked at everyone " an elementary school... what the hell!" I yelled " let's go everyone! lets go!" 

We got to the school and it was horrific. I couldn't believe this. A shooting at an elementary school. I got closer to the building. I saw Antonio " Antonio what is this...?" He looked at me " the junior high's power went out so those kids came here until they resolved the issue... some how some kid had a gun!" Voight spoke " the firealarms were accidentally pulled is my guess.... but we need you to check.." I looked at them " the shooter.." Antonio added " still inside... but we will shield you guys!" Boden added " ok but only 3 of you go in.." I looked at everyone " ok come on Hermann... Severide..." Severide looked at Cruz " come on Cruz!" 

We walked in and saw scared kids and teachers in class rooms. We tried to evacuate, but we couldn't get everyone. All of sudden there he was, the shooter. I looked at him " hey.. hey!" He looked at me " don't come any closer.." I looked at him " ok.. ok... i'm stay right here.." He looked at me " go go!!" I looked at him " I can't do that.... you should put that gun down ok.." He looked at me " no!" I looked at him " you don't want anyone to get hurt..." He pointed the gun at me " you don't know me!!" I looked at him " I don't... your right!" 

Then from the outside there was a sudden noise. It was unreal. Voight yelled " shots fired!! move in! my guys move in move in!!!"
