It's been a couple weeks. Matt and I have been looking at places. We look at places pretty much every chance we can. We've been looking, but nothing has clicked quite yet. Their all pretty basic places so far. I love my job and everyone I work with.
I got to work and was hanging in the ER. We were all waiting for patients. In Chicago it's a busy ER. Today it was slow though. It was tad bit odd that we were this slow here today. Nat came up to me " hey... how's apartment hunting..?" I looked at her " not so coming..." She laughed " really nothing....?" I laughed " yeah... you would think we like something with all the places that are available in Chicago right now.." She laughed " wait until you find that perfect place... Jeff and I did the same..." I laughed " how's little Owen...?" She laughed " happy... smiley!" Then we got something, Maggie yelled to us " car accident... multiple injuries.. coming in.. in 3!".
We ran as they came in. I ran to Shay as she brought a teenage girl in. I yelled "What do we got?!!" She responded " Kyra, 14 was trapped in the car bad... possible femur fracture.." I looked into this girls eyes " Kyra... I'm Dr. Dawson... your gonna be fine.. were going to take care of you.." She looked at me " my brother... where's my brother.." I looked at her " he's right behind us.. he's gonna be ok" Then he came in. Nat came to him " what do we have here.." The paramedic responded " Jacob, 9 possible rib fracture.." Dr. Manning brought him to the Er bay 5 " ok Jacob I'm going to take care of you.. your going to be fine."
