Matt's POV
I dropped Mia off at my sisters. She was happy to take her pretty much any day now since it's summer. She loves spending time with her niece. I love her being able to spend time with her. It's best for her to be around family. Daycare is nice, but family is everything. When I was growing up my sister was in college. She was already grown up when I was still growing up as a kid myself. Violet is over 10 years older than Mia. I'm just happy she can be there for her, and look out for her. That's an age difference, but it's like an older sister. it's nice cause Violet is an only child.
I got to work and it is a good day. Mouch was seating on his couch. He smiled as I walked into the room " Lieutenant! your back." I nodded " hey Mouch! yeah I am!" Hermann walked in " hey lieutenant!" I smiled " Hermann thanks for filling in for me..." He smiled " yeah glad your back!" I laughed " me too!" They asked " so... how's Gabby?" I laughed " she's good... a little nervous with me being back and being pregnant but good." Hermann laughed " that's Gabby!"
