I finished off my shift at med. It was a good one. We had some interesting cases come in, but it was good. I just wanted to get home to my baby girl. Being away from home is always hard. Will asked " heading home..?" I nodded " yeah..." He smiled " have a good night... see you tomorrow!" I smiled " good night!" I got to the car and drove to Chrisitie's. I saw Mia standing at the door, and I picked her up. I smiled " hey baby girl! it's just us.." I smiled " thanks Christie!" I got her settled in the car, and we drove 10 minutes home. It was a good day and it was just so nice to be in our comfy warm home.
I made some mac and cheese for dinner. It was good. I fed Mia a little bit, and we settled down for bed. She played on the floor with all her toys out on the floor. I smiled " Mia... ok time for bed!" She looked at me just continued to play. I smiled " come on let's go!" I picked her up and carried her up to my room. I laid her in bed with me. We were all snuggled up. Just before bed I gave Matt a call. I called him " hey Matt!" He answer " yeah.. who!" I laughed " baby it's me!" He laughed " I know... I was joking! what's up?" I laughed " Mia and I are in bed.. we wanted to say goodnight!" I held the phone up to Mia's ear. Matt talked her to sleep " Mia baby girl... getting ready for bed!" She yelled " DA d DA DA DADA!" I laughed " she's been saying that all day.. Christie was talking about that when I picked her up!" Matt laughed " now say... ma ma mama!" I laughed " goodnight.. be safe! we love you!" Matt laughed " I love my girls too!"
