This little girl has been through so much. Her dad's dead and her mom abandoned her. I can't believe anyone would ever leave their child. Who could possibly do that. I looked at April " hey April... um call dcfs." She looked at me " okay..." I looked at her " we have a case of child abandonment.." She looked at me " ok.."
I waited for someone to come down here. A lady looked at me " excuse me I'm here about a girl named Tessa!" I nodded " yeah... and you are!" She looked at me " sorry... i'm Linda Sawyer from DCFS!" I nodded " I'm one of Tessas doctors... i'm Dr. Casey." She walked with me " so Tessa's mother is missing.." I nodded " to me it seems like abandonment..." She looked at me " what made you consider that.." I looked at her " she came in with smoke inhalation... a fractured femur... when I examined her she had bruises on her body.... I link that to abuse.. but her mother has been missing.." She looked at me " ok... I'm gonna have to talk to her.."
