It was time. I was ready to go home and tell Matt. I know he's going to be so happy and excited. He actually might be a little more excited than me. He's always wanted kids, and now it's our time. I'm ready for all of this. I know I am.
Matt was on shift tonight. He wouldn't be at home. I had to go to the house. I was going to surprise him. I showed up at the house. Everyone was just so surprised. Otis looked at me "Dawson... what are you doing here?" I looked at everyone seriously " Matt in his office.." They all nodded " yeah.. paperwork!" I laughed "ok!" I knocked on his office door and opened it up. He looked at me, seeing me standing here. Matt asked " Gabby... hey... what's wrong?" I laughed " nothing's wrong..!!" He looked at me " well... what you doing here.." I closed the door and sat down on his bunk " ok.... well I do have to tell you something!" Matt sat next to me, putting his hand on my back " ok.." I looked at him " so I went to the doctor... I knew something was up.... and she said i'm pregnant!" He laughed " really.." I showed him an ultrasound picture " yes... were going to have a baby!" Matt laughed and kissed me " that's so great... how far along are you..?" I smiled " just at the end of 6 weeks..." He laughed " wow... that's so amazing!" I grasped his hand " I.. I don't want to tell anyone though... nobody in this house... and not even Antonio!" He nodded " of course.." I looked into Matt's blue eyes "... after the first trimester is over... we can tell everyone!!" Matt kissed me " this is so great..... your going to be a great mom!"
