It's all good news! - Chapter 51

It's all good news. I know that. I was all ready to tell Matt that I'm pregnant. I know i'm around 6 weeks. It's all the beginning. I had been home all day because I didn't have to go into work today. They have been working me easy which I know is all because of what happened. It's been a couple months. I have my PTSD and everything, but it's okay. I'm good. I want to just tell him. I want him to know. He's my husband and I love him. Matt walked  through the door. I came to the door " hey baby.." He smiled and kissed me " who was your day.." I smiled " good..." He looked at me " so... what did you do today..?" I looked at him, and I knew I should tell him, but I couldn't. I smiled and laughed                   " nothing... just cleaned up around here.." 

I was feeling okay. The morning sickness was here and it was getting me, but Matt had no idea yet. I knew I had to tell him, but after I see the doctor. I was going to go today during my shift. 

I waited for my break to see the doctor. I saw the OB at the hospital. I sat there on the table and this time I'm the patient. Well I'm the patient again. She smiled and looked at me " Gabby... hi.." I smiled     " Dr. Patchefsky.... hi your seeing me!" She nodded " yeah.. that ok?" I laughed " of course.. yes!" She looked at me knowing what was happening " so what's wrong..?" I looked at her " I think... I'm pregnant.." She smiled " ok... well let's take a look!" I lifted up my shirt, just waiting to see. I was so nervous. I just wanted to know what was happening. She put the cold gel on my stomach, and started the ultrasound " ok.... yup there's a baby in there.." I smiled " really..?" She pointed at the screen and smiled " yes... theres a little baby in there!" I laughed " oh my good... I can't believe this!" She wiped the gel off my stomach " I know it's a lot....." I laughed " It's amazing..." She laughed " yeah it is... you going to tell you husband.." I laughed " Yeah.. I just didn't want him to be excited for nothing..." She nodded " of course... just don't wait too long to tell him! he'll be happy Gabby!"
