I'm 16 weeks now. I'm okay and ready for everything to just go back to the usual. Matt is going back to work today. I'm nervous because going back to work after medical leave is hard. You worry about everything. There is a chance that things won't be okay. He could get into another accident. Something could happen.There is always that chance. We take that risk everyday. Matt got out of bed and got ready for work. I sat on the bed all ready. Matt looked at me " what's wrong.." I laughed it off " nothing..." He sat next to me " no really... talk to me... what's wrong?" I looked at him " I guess I'm nervous... your going back to work... I'm pregnant we have a daughter... what if something goes wrong.." He looked at me " Gabby... you can't do this to yourself!" I looked at him " I have more to worry about these days... so I worry!" Matt kissed my head " I'll be fine... whatever happens... happens. I go into burning buildings... theres that risk. I might not come home tomorrow but I'm gonna make sure thats only a what if. i'll be careful!" I kissed him and held onto him, hugging him so tight. I didn't want to let go. I laughed " ok... oh god i'm gonna be late!" Matt kissed me " go to work... i'll call you later!"
I ran off to work. I got there and everyone was looking at me. I laughed " I know pregnant running lady!" Maggie laughed " rough morning..." I laughed " yeah... Matt's going back to work today.." She looked at me " ah... you nervous?" I shrugged " I am... but why should I be... everything is going to be fine!"
