It was nice to see everyone. Everyone was just pilling in my room. Everyone just wanted to say hi. They want to make sure we were doing good, and that we were okay. I loved seeing all these smiling faces. It's familiar for us. They are familiar to us. I was close with everyone because of how long I had been working with them. I've been working with them for over 10 years. I worked at a firehouse for a long time before I moved on. Now it's weird that I don't. I love my job and wouldn't quit for just anything. I love what I do. The only other thing that could take me away form it is my kids. I love them to pieces and more than anything. 

Shay walked in. We were partners for years, and she's reason number 2 why I became a doctor. She encouraged me just as much as Casey did. She hugged me " Gabby... ugh oh my god... i've missed you!" I laughed " me too..." She smiled " where's the little guy....?" I looked at her " the nursery... they wanted me to rest a little bit... he'll be back soon.." She looked at me " so how are you doing.." I looked at her " good..." She looked at me " really... good!" I nodded " yeah... i'm better... the doctors are saying just a few more days and we'll be able to go home..." Brett walked in " hey.." I smiled " hi Brett!" She smiled " how's it going..?" I nodded " good..." Shay asked " how's Mia?" I laughed " she loves her baby brother.." I looked at them " we'll were lucky she's not old enough to understand everything..." Brett looked at me " ya... maybe someday you can explain everything but now you guys don't have to worry..." I looked at her " he was our son... we named him..." Shay hugged me " I know... you guys will be okay..." A nurse smiled " here he is!" She handed him to me. I smiled " this is my little sunshine!" Shay smiled " hi little boy... your momma is amazing!" Brett smiled " ya... ya she is!"
