Matt and I were having Shay and Severide over for dinner tonight. It's been a while since we've been around friends that wasn't when were at work. We haven't been too social lately. I was just happy to be around our friends tonight. I love Matt, but we need our friends too.
They knocked at the door. I opened it " hey guys!" Shay hugged me " hey!! i've missed my Gabby!" I laughed " i've missed you guys!!! so much!!" Severide asked " wheres Matt?" I looked at him " upstairs.. he should be down in a minute!" I looked at Shay " so..." She laughed " what... you have that look..." I looked at her " ok you can't mention anything to Matt..." She looked at me " oh god... you know I'm terrible with secrets..!" I laughed " well you can't say anything!" She looked at me " ok.. what is it!" I looked at her " Matt wants us to have another baby.." She looked at me " that's great... you guys are great parents!" I nodded " ya huh!" She looked at me " what's wring with that...?" I looked at her " I don't know.. if I'm ready... is it too soon!" She looked at me " you know we don't know what will happen... and I know Mia is only 8 months but you know maybe this will be good for you guys!" I laughed " ya.. well I guess we'll see what happens!!!"
