I was going back to work. We both were. It was nice to have this time and everything, but now I was ready to get back to our everyday lives. Matt kissed me " i'll see you tomorrow! I love you..." I smiled " maybe... I can stop by later.." Matt kissed me again " yes... of course!"
I got back to work. It was nice. Nat smiled " so how was the honeymoon..." I laughed " good... relaxing..." She laughed " you do anything fun.." I laughed " yeah... not leaving the place at all.." Nat smiled " oh yeah.." I looked down " oh god.." She looked at me " what..." Then Maggie came by " what..." I laughed it off " nothing... just not feeling good... it's probably just the trip taking a toll..." Maggie looked at me funny " yeah... you sure you don't want to get checked out..." I laughed " no.. i'm good!"
I worked through the shift. It was a long one. I was ready to go, but then I got called to stay. It's just part of the job. I don't mind it, I love it. I called Matt. He picked up " hello!" I spoke " hey.. it's me um they asked to stay on call so I can't make it by.." Matt spoke " it's fine... i'll see tomorrow... ok.." I laughed " yeah.. I love you!" He laughed " love you too..!"
I was walking through the halls. It was a quiet night. I saw a guy just wondering the halls. I looked at him " sir you can't be walking around here... where do you need to be" He looked at me " don't" All of a sudden I was on the floor. He was kicking me... I couldn't feel anything. He stood over me " that's what you get.."
