Chapter 17
(Louis POV)
Liam and I finally made it to the airport. I ran in side with Liam and found the terminal. The doors were shut. I ran to the window. In the air, in an airplane, was my girlfriend. I sighed and fell to the ground in sadness. My life should be over. No Bella, no life. Liam was gasping for air as he caught up to me. He said sitting on the ground where I was.
"It's okay Louis. You' ll see her soon" Liam hugged me.
"I know if Danielle was in that plane I'd be very upset too" he said.
"But you would've gotten here in time to save her." I said through tears.
"C'mon mate" Liam said standing up.
"Let's head home" he finished. We walked to his car slowly and in silence. 5 minutes later I realized something. I gasped clutching my mouth.
"Mate what is it?!?" Liam yelled.
"Bella's birthday is in a week" I stuttered out. Liam stared at me. A week from today is Bella's 19th birthday. I had forgotten. I even bought her a diamond necklace with my "L. T" initials on it. I couldn't believe this.
We got home and I went to our treehouse and sat staring at the trapdoor leading up here. Almost as if I was waiting for Bella to come through and kiss my cheek like she always does. I shed a tear. How am I going to last a week without her. That's when I realized I couldn't.
