I woke up at 5am. Not that I slept at all. I half-expected the entire legion of aliens from every planet possible in my house.

I got out of bed and head to the kitchen to get my precious cup of coffee. "Good Morning Miss. Danielle." Jarvis rings out.

"Man, i have to load "Danny" into your system... the formality is annoying..." i grumble.

"I believe the correct response is "Good Morning Jarvis."

"Dad loaded all his cheek into your software." I laugh. "What's my day looki like, Jarv?"

"Not too busy.... you have a nine o'clock with Ms. Grace, and a lunch meeting with the board of directors of Prada. That is at two o'clock. You are free after that."

"Ugh, why Prada!?" i take a sip of coffee and instantly remember something.

"oh my god, LOKI!!" I rush up the stairs.

"Appropriate..." Jarvis whips out.

I ignore and slowly open the door. Okay, this is nuts. Im actually attracted to this man in my guest bedroom. I roll my eyes and shut the door when I hear his voice...

"Mortal...."

I open the door again. "My name is Danielle. Dont call me Mortal."

Loki laughs to himself, as if my words meant nothing but noise to him. It gets on my nerves, but i shut up.

"Danielle... I apologise for my behaviour last night." he says slowly, as if its a pain to apologise. But atleast he did it.

"No problem... can i get you some breakfast?"

"Breakfast?"

"um... Morning meal?" Im laughing out loud inside... this whole experience would be hilarious if he had no idea what earth was like. Its almost adorable. If he could just drop the "im a king and you are all beneath me" act.

"Yes... that would be nice.."

I turned on my heel and headed out the door. "Jarv, hit the music." and right then, Macklemore's Thrift Shop surrounded me as I prepared toast and eggs.

"Grace, I appreciate you wanting to your business with me, but I see no future in this partnership, okay?" i sigh. I hate to do this to my friend, but I'm not mixing business with friendship. Although I dont have to be a god to see the future- Grace is done with me. I laugh at the "god" part and Grace frowns.

"You dont, I do, Danielle, this can be good for the both of us! And unlike you, I dont have my parents money to fall back on, I need your name to help my business get clients!"

"And I'm telling you, I can't do that! its not even really my business, it's under my mothers name!"

"Which you run!"

"This conversation is over, Grace. I cant help you, I'm sorry. I would be risking the goodwill of MY company."

"Thats all you care about!"

"Isnt that what you care about too, with your company?" I look at her questioningly. She collects her phone and purse, gets up and leaves with a "nice catching up with you, stark."
