A Changed Man (A Loki fan fiction)

Danielle's POV

Breakfast the next day was just me, Loki and Thor. Thor gave me a hug, and again, the man doesn't know his strenght. I hugged him back and let go. 

"Congratulations, Danielle."

"Thanks, Thor...." I smiled. I couldn't wipe off the silly smile. I probably looked mental, I didnt care. Once we were finished, Loki got up.

"Loki... what are we going to do about...." I stopped, not sure if I should ask.

"About my father? Thor and I are going to take care of that, dont worry, love."

"We're calling each other that, are we?" Thor tried to stop laughing, but couldn't hide his smile. 

"Thor..." Loki said in a warning tone. 

"Yes, love!?" Thor asked innocently. 

I started laughing, and so did Thor. Loki frowned. Wow, for a god of mischeif and trickery, he's grouchy when its aimed at him. 

"You're not going there are you!?" I asked, a little scared.

"I dont know. What happens, happens. Danielle, dont worry yourself about this. I've made a promise to keep you safe.."

"And do something to yourself in the process."

"He loves you too much to leave you alone." Thor said. I looked at Loki and he seemed to agree, but kept the frown maintained, as if he wanted to be the one telling me that. Thor patted him on the back. "Okay, I'm going to leave before he burns me" 

Thor walked out of the dining hall. 

"Let me help.." I turned to Loki. "I can, you know it too."

"I know you can, Danielle. But if something happens to...."

"I can do it, Loki. But you have to let me go back to Earth for a while."

"Alone!?"

"Come, if you wish..." I stepped closer to him. "We can come back here anytime you want, but I want to see my parents."

"After I speak to my father?" Loki looked at me as if asking for five more minutes in the swings.

"Yeah, ofcourse!" I said and kissed him. "Go, ill be in your chambers."

"OUR chamber..." he breathed into my ear, and god, how does he make something that simple sound so sexual!?
