"Mother want to meet you..." Thor walked into Loki's room. I was sitting on the bed reading one of Loki's books.

"I just came from football, I'm not very lookable.... would it be very bad to keep her waiting for about fifteen minutes?"

"I suppose...."

"Danielle Stark...?"

I looked over Thor's shoulder and saw his mother. Oh god. Im dressed in jeans thats half in mud because of all our skidding and falling and my hair.... what's my hair like!? This is not the first impression I wanted the goddess to have of me.

Thor looked at me with widened eyes, turned to his mom, bowed and left.

Oh crap.

"Danielle...." she said. I couldn't read her face, but I'm pretty sure she didn't like how I was dressed. She paused to take in the horror I was, then continued. "... while I'm happy you changed my son for the better, I must be honest..." another pause. "I doubt your intentions."

"My intentions?"

"Danielle... you knew he was a god when you rescued him. Did you rescue him to benefit..."

"NO!" I yealled un-intentionally, then checked myself. "I mean, no, i did not. I have no motive. I helped him because he was hurt."

"And that's all?"

"Yes."

"And now that you are here, in Asgard. What is your plan?"

Jeez, its like dad asking me whats my career plan at 16.

"I have no plan."

"You dont wish to settle with Loki?"

"Settle as in....?" oh god no, was he going to propose!? Im 21, I have a whole life of drunk mistakes and levels of stupidity to accomplish.

I heard the door behind me. Loki was out of the shower. Frigga dissapeared before my eyes and I was alone standing, staring at the wall. I smelt the mint in the air and Loki wrapped his arms around me. He kissed my ear and ran his lips down my cheek. "Lets get you cleaned up..." he smiled at me devilishly and pulled me to the shower.

He pulled my shirt over my head and threw it on the floor. He turned on the water and freezing cold water hit my body. I gasped and he wrapped me in a hug, his hands running down my back... I felt better, and he pushed me away gently, took his hands and began to wipe the mud from my face and hands. I smiled, but for some reason I wanted to cry. I didn't want Loki to think anything I didn't want him to. I never meant to lead him on, I dont want marraige now, I...

Shut up and live in the moment. She never said anything about marraige.

"You have a beautiful smile, have I told you that?" Loki kissed me. "Yes." He looked into my eyes and his hands ran down my arms slowly. "Well, I'll say it again. You have a beautiful smile."
