A Changed Man (A Loki fan fiction)

Loki's POV

Over the next few days, Danielle taught about various things around the house. Including Jarvis. 

"Now you gotta keep in mind its no servant...." Danielle said. "Its just a software. Meaning it will talk to you and keep records and show you things and do some tasks, but cant make food and drink and all that."

"What else should I know?"

"Telephone..." Danielle handed me a rectangular device. I barely felt its weight on my palm. "That's an iPhone. Now if I call you, you must slide the little silver thing across the screen. Ill show you."

Suddenly the phone vibrated and made an unpleasant ringing noise I immediately hated. Danielle took it from my hands and showed me how to make it stop. "And then you put it to your ear and you can talk to me. Shall we try?"

I nodded and she left the room. The device started making that noise again and I slid to answer and put it to my ear. "Hey, Loki!!" I heard. I felt silly talking to an in-animate object, but I obliged. "Hello Danielle..." I said slowly. 

She came out of the kitchen, where she had been. "All right. So now I have to leave for work. Are you okay on your own? I will be back for lunch."

"Of course I'll be okay! You have no reason to worry..." I kissed her. "I shall see you for lunch." 

She hugged me and left. What was I supposed to do all alone?
