"Loki!!" Danielle exclaimed, excited. She hugged me tightly. "I missed you...!"

"Likewise..." I pulled her close to me and kissed her. "What have you been doing?"

"Well.." she gestured to the dining hall with all the talking people. "I helped with the success of this year's Expo. Where's Thor?"

"In there..." I pointed to my brother, who was with Jane. They both looked well together. I turned to the view from the balcony. It was amazing. I felt Danielle's arms around my stomach, and her head rested on my shoulder. I put my arm around her waist. We must have stayed there a while till she pushed me away and smiled.

"We have to go in..." she took my hand and pulled me. "And may I say, you look fantastic..!" she kissed me on the cheek. "I'm going to have to take that off you tonight..."

She pulled me into the dining hall and I saw myself surrounded with people excitedly chattering and also some of the Avengers, including Fury.

"What are they dong here!?:" I asked Danielle.

"Well, it's dad's expo. They come too. In normal clothes, of course."

"Of course." I took the glass Danielle offered me and drank. It was bitter sweet, and as it went down, I felt warm. "This drink.. its good! What is it?"

"Wine..." she laughed. "And now its time for dinner... over there.."

She led me to a room with several tables and all sorts of paintings... I proceeded to observe each one when she pulled me to sit. She whispered to me, "its not normal to be fascinated my age old paintings in this crowd. They just care about money..."

I smiled at her and sat down. Stark had stood up and said so many things I didn't understand, but in our corner table, Danielle told me about all the paintings in the most extravagant detail, then talked to me about Norse mythology.

"Sif, the female warrior... I like her!" she said. "I admire her courage and the fact that she stood up to prove a woman can fight..."

"There is Freya, the goddess of beauty. Many a Jotun have attempted to steal her from Asgard, but in vain." I started to tell her stories of Asgard, Jotenheim, the rainbow bridge and everything father would tell me as a child. She intently listened, asked intelligent questions and her curiosity made her even more beautiful, somehow. She did know a lot about Norse mythology, some of which weren't totally accurate.

"Sif isint Thor's wife, as you can see..." I laughed.

"I read you turn into a mare, and that you gave birth to an eight-legged horse." she said quickly, as if it were a mere 'how do you do' ".... is that what happened?"

"Well, again. Not completely accurate...." I took a sip of the wine, trying to avoid her gaze. I could tell she wanted to laugh. I looked at my food. "You may laugh..."

She started laughing, and hers was an infectious one. Soon we both were laughing, and we continued our conversation.
