A Changed Man (A Loki fan fiction)

Third person POV

Danielle ran down the stairs where Tony sat in his iron man suit, minus the mask. 

"Dad what are you doing here!?"

"Irrelevant... Why haven't you told me about Loki?"

"There was nothing to say...! He isn't a threat!"

"He isn't an advantage either, he needs to go!"

"Dad, its fine, he has been here a month, we never had ONE incedent!"

"Danielle.... either hand him over or..." the Iron Man mask slammed into place. "we take him by force."

WE?

As if on cue, Natasha's voice came over the P.A. system, "Loki, you have been surrounded, slowly come out with your hands up."

Danielle ran upstairs. "Danielle, NO!" Tony shouted. She ignored and opened her bedroom door to find Loki in his armor, with the helmet and his scepter. "Loki, no, this is what they want!" 

Loki ignored her and walked out of the bedroom door. Tony was ready for him and ejected a blast that knocked Loki over. Loki stood up and Nick Fury's voice came.. "Loki, DROP THE WEAPON AND STAND DOWN!"

"Loki, please...? I wont let them do anything to you, I promise, please just drop the scepter?" Danielle looked pleadingly at Loki. 

(meanwhile in Asgard)

"Father, Loki is in trouble!" Thor stormed into his father's chambers without permission. Odin All Father looked up at Thor. 

"He brought it upon himself when he left." he simply said. 

"Father, Loki had no intention of attacking Midgard, Heimdall said he is in grave danger through no fault of his!"

"Thor Odinson, do what you must, I refuse to help."

"He hasn't betrayed!" 

"Thor Odinson....." Odin All Father glared at Thor. Thor understood and kept quiet. He knelt down with his right hand on his heart, got up, and left. 

He took the horses across the Rainbow Bridge and got down. "Heimdall, you must send me to Midgard, immediately."

"Very well, Odinson. But if your return threatens Asgard, the Bifrost shall remain closed to you." he opened the Bifrost, and Thor felt the pull, and a second later he was gone. 

(back to earth)

Loki dropped the scepter all the while looking at Danielle, letting him be handuffed by Maria Hill and pulled down the stairs. 

"Whats that!?" Natasha's voice came. 

"Is it...? It cant be..." Danielle ran outside and looked up.

"Its Thor!" Captain America yelled. "He's heading, look out!"

Thor hit the ground and the impact made all of them fall back. Thor got up. 

"Whats the hell is going on!?" Nick Fury demanded. Next to him, Maria Hill held Loki captive. 

"I have come to tell you..." Thor said. "That Loki is of no harm to you. Heimdall and I have seen Loki all this while, and we know he does not plan to threaten your people."

"Yeah, but he can't stay." Bruce Banner said. "You dont know when he's going to go crazy."

"S.H.I.E.L.D will have to constantly keep their monitors on you, we do have other work besides preventing world domination by Reindeer Games." Tony removed his mask. "The big guy's right, he cant stay." 

"Then DON'T, he is not a threat!!" Danielle yelled. "Can someone listen?"

"Danielle, stay out of this.." Tony warned. 

"NO! This is my business and I didn't ask for your help! Go away!"

"Danielle...." Natasha put her hand on Danielle's shoulder. "We just can't afford to take a risk. Loki will have to go."

"No, he doesnt, I promise, he wont..."

"Loki means no harm, I can guarantee it!" Thor interrupted. "He has the permission of Odin All father to stay here." 

"What happens if he does go nuts?" Agent Barton asked. 

"He WON'T! LEAVE HIM ALONE!" Danielle yelled. "Seriously, its been an entire month since he was here and nobody knew! Why? Because he didn't do anything bad!"

Nick Fury sighed and walked away. Hill let go of Loki and followed Fury. Then Captain America, Barton, Banner, everybody followed Fury beside the S.H.I.E.L.D helicopter and began to talk. Loki, Danielle and Thor remained. 

"Madam, I do hope you are allright." Thor went upto Danielle. "It was not my intention to alarm you."

"I'm fine.." Danielle looked at Loki. "So long as nothing happens to you..." she smiled. 

Loki walked, his hands handcuffed behind him, to Danielle. "Whatever happens, I promise I'll be back for you..." 

"Must you leave at all?" Danielle asked. 

"Loki...." The three saw Nick Fury approach them. "We will allow you to stay here for a month. We will track your whereabouts, your activities, everything. If we find you mean no trouble..." he looked at Thor. "He can stay as long as he likes." 

"Thats not fair, sir. He has gone an entire month without an incedent!" Danielle said.

"Nevertheless...." Nick Fury glared at Danielle and continued. "We will be tracking you, Loki. Be good."

"Oh, and I have something to say... coming through." Tony walked over in his iron man suit, putting on his mask. "You cant stay with my daughter." 

""Stark..." Fury began. 

"She's my daughter, I have a say."

"Dad, he's going nowhere. Im 21, you cant make my decesions."

"Danielle..."

"Dad, I know you already put an Iron Man suit in my basement to blast out anytime Jarvis thinks I'm in trouble. Let him stay!"

Tony stared at her through the mask, then flew up and away. The rest of The Avengers left one by one, leaving Thor.
