"Loki, open up."
God, he can be a child sometimes. I might have stayed outside for a good twenty minutes.
"Leave him." I heard Thor. "He needs to be alone."
"You dont understand. He thinks everything is his fault."
"I do understand, Danielle. He wants to be alone."
I sighed, frustrated. Its not his fault, he just wanted to help. And why must he imagine the worst!? I have no problem. Thor had left already. I leaned on the big gold doors and sighed.
"Dan...." the doors opened and I fell. Loki caught me before I hit the ground. He looked down at me and I looked up. We were like that for a second before both of us started laughing. He let me drop and sat down next to me and laughed.
"Well... the trust fall thing was a success..." I laughed. "Glad to know."
"I've told you so many times not to lean on doors."
"I know." I smiled at him. God, is he perfect. How does he not see that!? He took my hand and intertwined our fingers.
"I love you..." he said. I leaned closer and kissed him. "I love you too, Loki."
                              "And about this Frost..."
"Don't bother. It might take some getting used to, but why you think I might not like immortality is weird."
He laughed. "Well, I'm not complaining. I'd love to spend my life with you."
                              "Likewise."
                              "CHRIS!"
We heard Thor yell and got up to see from the balcony. Thor lay on the ground and Chris... well, Chris looked like he'd tossed him or something.
                              "What happened!?" I called out.
"I just beat him at wrestling!"
"You're getting soft, brother!" Loki mocked him.
"Am I...!? Why don't you come down here and fight with me, we'll test your theory."
"Did Chris seriously beat you wresting!?" I asked, unable to believe it. Man, thats a shocker.
"Well... it's not as awesome as that..." Chris said. "He had an injured shoulder."
"Even so, not a man can match his strenght, even if he is without Mjolnir!" Loki said.
"I'm a demi-god!" Chris protested. "My friends should literally worship me."
"Chris..." I warned. "Enough of that, get up here. I'll help Thor." I proceeded to walk down to them when Loki caught my arm.
"You're a Frost Giant. Move like one." he grinned at me and a second later, I found myself next to Thor. Well, its convenient, atleast.
Thor got up, refusing help and looked at Chris. "Run along, lad. I'll see when you are of age."
                              "I still did beat you."
                              "Yes, with an injured shoulder."
                              "Still counts."
                              "Does not!"
"All right, children" I laughed. "Thor, get someone to nurse that shoulder, for Valahalla's sake. Chris, find some useful employment."
Wow, useful emplyment!? Valhalla!? Great, officially a geek.
Ofcourse, Loki found nothing strange in my speech, but Chris looked at me weirdly and left.
"His strenght!" Loki exclaimed. "Who would have thought it!?"
"I know what you're thinking Loki." I said.
"Do you, now.." he smiled and pulled me closer by my waist.
"Yes. I can read your thoughts now."
He widened his eyes then burst out laughing. "Good girl!"
I frowned at the 'good girl' bit. "Oh don't be like that..." he said. "It's good that you can read minds. Although may I say, it may not serve you so well on Earth."
                              "Why not!?"
"I mean it may cause you displeasure to see what people think. They are judgmental and extremely materialistic."
                              "You mean what I was."
"And you tell me I shouldn't let my past disturb me..." he kissed my cheek. "You and I are a lot alike Danielle. We tell each other something, but dont agree to it ourselves."
I never thought of it that way. He was right.
"Fine. We both don't hate ourselves for our past then." I said.
                              "Deal..." he smiled.
