A Changed Man (A Loki fan fiction)

Tony's POV

Tony:

"I knew that already." I told Thor, handing him a drink. "I don't understand why."

"She says she wanted to protect you. She couldn't tell you where she was going."

"Protect me? What about HER?"

"She can take care of herself. From what I have seen of her, I know she can."

"Oh, I cant?"

"She didn't want to risk your life."

I dont know, but it seemed after I found out, I was more worried. I wanted her back, but that was no more my call. 

"You want her back..." Thor said. Great, he can read my mind. "I could talk to her."

"No, dont, I'd rather...." The building shook violently. I was thrown off and hit the oppsoite wall. "Anytime Jarvis."

The suit shot out and next thing I knew, I was in Mark 50. "Good job. Now what's wrong?"

"Explosion top right. I see three people. Miss. Danielle is with them." Jarvis rang out.

"Danny!?" I flew across the room out the already broken windows up to where Jarvis said and saw Thor already up there.

"Danielle!" I exclaimed. She ran to me and hugged me.

"OW!" she said as soon as she did and pulled back, rubbing her chin.

"Sorry, suits a little hot." I grinned. She seemed... I dont know.

"Loki's trapped in Jotenheim." she said.

Worried. There we go.

"What!? How!?" Thor asked, walking over to Danny. "Where were you really going?"

"We were coming here, I wanted to see dad. But Heimdall wasn't at the gates, it was a Frost Giant. Shapeshifter. He sent Loki and I to Jotenheim."

"But he sent me here..." Thor frowned and looked up, expecting something to come down. 

"They plan to scatter you. And then attack the city, with no one to protect it." the woman said. "We must hurry, Volstagg is manning the Bifrost, we have to save Loki and find out the enemies already sitting in Asgard."

"Hold on... what happens to Danny?" I asked.

"Well, she comes with us, doesn't she!? She is to be married to Loki." the woman said.

"She WHAT!?"

Danielle looked at me apologetically. "Not how I wanted to say it but.... yeah, I guess."

"So this is your new standards in guys? Gods or nothing?"

She laughed awkwardly. I knew she couldn't stay, so I let her go. As she turned, I called her back.

"Yeah?" she smiled. Last ever I was going to see my daughter smile, maybe. "Jarv... the suit." The suit, bit by bit, came off of me til it was just a hollow structure lying open. 

"As brave as you are and as much as you think you can handle stuff like war, Danny, I want you to wear that. Your ego steps in a little too much, like your dad, and that's not healthy. You'll end up killing yourself. Don't do that."

Her eyes turned red, and she hugged me tightly. "Tell mom I love her, and I'll be back as soon as this shit is over with..." I laughed at her choice of words. "I promise." I hugged her back and had to let her go when Thor yelled for the Bifrost. 

Danielle held out her arms, letting the iron man suit envelope her, and suddenly she was pulled. i felt the force of the Bifrost and saw myself get closer to the blue light ejecting for nowhere. 

"Uh-oh... NO!" a thousand points of light blinded me and I saw myself a second later, surrounded by nothing but gold.

"Tony?"

I turned around and.. "Pepper!? How are you here?"

"I heard the explosion and came out! Next thing I was pulled into something... danielle!?" she saw her and went to hug her. "Where the hell have you been!?"

"Oh you know... around." sshe joked. "Just been around a couple of worlds, nothing much."

"Loki... we must find him. Do you know where he is?" Thor asked Danielle. 

"Yeah. Temple. I can take you there."

"All right. Volstagg, you must stay here and guard once more..." Thor said. The man looked dissapointed, but agreed.

"Okay... on the count of three..." Thor yelled. Some noise seemed to have come from nowhere. "One... two... THREE!"

Now I could see only Thor, Danielle, the woman and the other two men get pulled to the Bifrost, leaving Pep and I alone with Volstagg. 

Volstagg. Badass name for a new suit.
