I didnt have the slightest idea how Danielle could... change. Chris had come with us, but we didnt tell him of our purpose. He ran off to meet Thor and I took Danielle to Odin-All-Father.

"You dont have to hold me and everything, you know." she said. "Im not fragile, I can walk." I let her go and she went ahead. I've never known her to brush me off so. No doubt she was upset, but....

I walked fast to catch up with her. She stopped at the Throne room doors. The doors opened and we walked forward, knelt with our hands on our hearts and stood up.

"Whats the matter, Loki!?" Father asked. I explained the situation. He merely got up and left the room. I expected Danielle to ask me why he did so. She just sat down on the ground. I sat with her.

"Why are you upset, love?" I looked into her eyes. They were red. From her transformation or because she was crying, I didnt know.

"Loki, I'm Jotun..." she said. "Lets face it. And we arent monsters. It pains me to think you think so."

"I don't think of you as a monster. I couldn't ever..."

"But you do think so of yourself. We're the same."

"Danielle, I dont consider myself a monster for what I am. I do so for what I did"

She looked away and sighed. Just then, Odin-All-Father entered. We stood up.

"Loki...."

He didnt have to say more. I knew it, somwhere in my heart. But I still hoped he could help.

"But..." she let go and walked towards Father. "But why did I transform?"

"When the two of you were held captive in Jotenheim, he had pushed you here using dark magic. That kind of magic is used by the Frost Giants alone. Loki may not have known it. Or maybe he hoped it wouldn't affect you." he paused. "...Danielle, the  dark magic changed you. When it saw you werent a Frost Giant, it made you one."

"Yet another thing Danielle must live with because of me." I  turned away and walked out.

"Dad! Guess wha.."

"Not now Chris.." I walked to my chambers and shut the door hard.
