Danielle:

Here its safe

And here its warm....

The glass cage provided no protection from the feelings. The time I hated that word. I lay down on the floor, grateful it was not cold. But how long!? Loki walking around, his melonchony expression. Singing, so softly, my ears sensitive to his every word, every breath and every movement. As if the cage heightened all my senses and used it against me. Each time i wanted to touch the glass, an electric shock ran through me. No amount of screaming and shouting made Loki look at me. No amount of crying would ever get me out of this mess.

Forget your woes and let your troubles lay

And when again its Morning, They'll wash away

No it wont. He'll still be there. It was like someone took pleasure in giving pain. Like slowly cutting you, losing your will, little by little. I heard a knock to Loki's door, and the door being opened. Laufey entered, spoke to him. Loki protested, and Laufey merely left.

"Danielle..." he said. "What did they do to you..."

I wanted to hug him. Just break the glass and hug him tight. Feel his embrace, his long slender fingers in my hair, his fragrance overtaking me and his voice.....

Break the glass...?!

I held out my hand.. I probably looked stupid, but no one could see me anyway. My left hand extended towards the door that kept me shut from anybody, I waited. A long while.

The hammer crashed through the door and hit my hand with an impact I thought should break my hand. I took the hammer by the handle and flung it at the glass, causing it to shatter into a billion tiny shards. I reached back for the hammer, Loki's astonished face greeting me. I dropped the hammer to the floor and ran to hug Loki.... Loki who had a jagged scar across his cheek. Who had blood on his hands. Loki whose chest still showed signs of the wound but hugged me back tight never the less. His fingers in my hair. "Am I glad you came..." he just said, and I could hear him smile.
