Danielle's POV:
"Doesnt anyone play any music?" I asked one of the ladies serving boar.
"Music!? During a feast!?" she looked at me like it was something unthinkable.
"Yeah..." I said slowly, unsure if I should press on the matter.
"Forgive her, my dear, Midgardian parties are a million things at once.." Loki cut in. She bowed and walked away.
"We dont really fancy Midgardian music..." Loki told me.
                              "As if you've heard any."
                              "Its an educated guess."
"You liked that Elton John song... We danced to it once."
"I had wine." he took a swig from his drinking horn. "Just like now. Im going back to Thor." he gave me a hug that seemed more like an obligation and re-joined Thor.
I shook my head. This was boring. I hadnt been to a raging party is forever and it killed me that all they did was eat and drink.
Well.. I had my iPod. But over the noise, it would never EVER be heard... and Asgard didnt exactly have a BOSE sound system.
                              You have MAGIC genius.
Well... ofcourse I do. I took one last look at the crowd eating like the next day was Ragnoräk before teleporting to my chambers and grabbing the small piece of technology from Midgard I could keep that made sense.
Coming back down, I set the iPod to shuffle and it started playing, barely audible. I set it to high and hid it behind a loose brick in the wall. I touched the wall and...
                              uh-oh.
I swear I flew back with the sound that came out of all the wall, and it slowly started affecting the connecting walls and damn it, it made a brilliant surround sound system. Avril Lavigne's "Rock 'n' Roll" sounded crazy awesome.
The Asgardians were obviously shocked, and looked as if someone intruded on a private moment. And ofcourse everyone was staring at me. For a moment, there was no noise, except for Avril Lavigne saying she was a mother fucking princess. That was awkward.
Then one of the warriors pumped his fist in the air and yelled. Everyone followed and some of the young girls came out of their corners and started dancing.
Marc Anthony and Pitbull's "Let it Rain Over Me" came next, and Thor might have taken the hint. They.. WE... were all drunk out of our minds, even women, who werent usually allowed to drink. Thor climbed up on the table and after taking a drink from his horn, smashed it and swung his hammer and pointed to the sky. The lightening provided a good effect, to be honest... and it started pouring. Men were crouching over their food to protect it while eating, the ones who were dancing just kept dancing and the women.. well, the ones worried about their dresses ran back inside their houses while the others just kept drinking and howling.
I have no idea when the party ended. I dont know if it lasted all morning. I left my iPod to play for anyone who still had the strenght to go on. Asgardians were knew how to party! But there was only so much I could keep up with and well... I was out of practice. Last thing I remember I was pulling Loki into bed.
                              *****
                              I. Am. Never. Drinking. Again.
Was the damn iPod still on!? I faintly made out Eminem's "Rap God" somewhere in the background. I shook my head and snapped my fingers to shut it. My head felt like a thousand pounds.
Breathe in... breathe out... I slowly opened my eyes and.. ugh, the sunlight.
Wait, this wasnt my room... the window was to my left, not right in front.
