Man, when did stuff get so complicated!?

Two months ago, I was alone, had no decesions to make and spent my evenings with popcorn and a movie. Now it's two months later and everything is a mess.

I had so many questions. Loki had fallen asleep and I lay in bed thinking. Could I leave all this?? And then I realised...

I never formed an attatchment to anything my entire life.

I searched in my head for something, anything, that i could find that I might have formed an attatchment to, emotionally. I drew a blank. I threw the blankets off me and ran out to my living room to look around. Nothing. I had literally nothing. I sat on the couch and went back into history.

Books, teachers, clients, papers, weapons, clothes, parties and loneliness. That is all I had to look back to. Nothing else. I led a completely meaningless life till Loki. I couln't part with him, and here, I didn't care. I went up to the attic to dig up old boxes.

I sat through all my albums that night. Yearbooks, photos, certificates and trophies. Nothing. I cared for nothing. I felt a strange mixture of pain and relief. Relief that I didn't have to have messy good-bye's. Pain that I led a life so selfish. I closed the boxes and went back to my room to sleep.

"I'll come..." I told Loki as soon as he opened his eyes. He smiled and shot up like a child on Christmas and hugged me. "We must make haste...." he jumped out of bed and put on a pair of jeans.

"We're going now!?" I asked. "Shouldn't I tell my parents first?"

"If they know your whearabouts, they will be in danger. No one can know."

"I cant come to Asgard forever, Loki...." I looked at him from my bed.

"Danielle..." he came to me and took my face in his hands. "We aren't going to be there forever. Just untill we make a peace treaty with Jotuneheim. It wouldn't take long. In the meantime, I need to get you out of harm's way."

I sighed and hugged him. I trusted him. He let go. "Well, would you like to get ready?"

I looked down at what I was wearing. I was wearing shorts and a shirt. I got out of bed and changed into a jeans and grey shirt. Loki was gone. I went upto the balcony where he was standing, in his armor, the helmet, the cape and his scepter.

"Is there anything you would like to take with you?"

I thought back to last night. Rummaging about for a little bit of my past. "No.." I said. "Im okay. Lets go."

He grabbed my waist and yelled, "HEIMDALL!  SEND THE BIFROST!"

I felt a strong pull toward a rainbow light, and the next second I stood in a circular room in front of another man Loki described to be Heimdall.

I was in Asgard.
